Yohn Drops 15 on Lady Vols

KNOXVILLE, TENN. – The Coker women's basketball kicked off their season in the Thompson-Boiling Arena against the Lady Vols of Tennessee in front of a crowd in excess of 10,000.  The Cobras lost the exhibition game 118-44.

Hailey Yohn led the Cobras in scoring with a team high 15-points.  Yohn shot 50-percent from three point range, with all of her points coming from trifectas. 

Angie Lawrence dropped 10-points for Coker, and led the defense with three steals.  Amber Lau contributed seven points, while Kelley Godbout and Priscilla Fenty grabbed down four rebounds each. 

Coker will begin their regular season on Friday, November 9 when they travel to face Carson-Newman in a non-conference match.  Tip-off is slated for a 6 p.m. start time.
