CONWAY, S.C. -- Just 22 hours after recording a career-high 15 points against Southern Virginia, sophomore Jessica Noll recorded her first career double-double to lead the Coastal Carolina University women's basketball team (6-1) past Coker 64-31 Sunday, Nov. 30 at Kimbel Arena. Noll tallied game-highs of 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Chants, while redshirt fresman Courtney Grambley used the second half to score a season-high 10 points.

Coker (1-4) raced out to a 7-4 advantage before freshman Taylor Epley scored her first basket of the game to start an 11-0 Coastal Carolina run, as the Chanticleers took a 15-7 lead with 7:14 left to play in the half. Coastal Carolina then closed out the half with a 12-5 run to build a 27-12 advantage at the break. The Chants only shot 29 percent in the first frame, but that was enough to go ahead of the Lady Cobras, who shot 16 percent from the floor.

Coastal Carolina recorded the first four baskets of the second half to stretch the lead to 35-12 before Coker could get on the scoreboard. A three-pointer by Lotta Aaltonen cut the deficit to 20 points with 11:45 remaining in the game. The Chanticleers led comfortably the remainder of the half, including when Grambley drained her second triple to push the Chanticleers to their largest lead of the day at 61-28 with 1:18 left on the clock.

The Chants sifted through the lineup for the second day, after drowning Southern Virginia 76-36 the day before. Noll was 2-of-5 from the floor and went 7-for-8 from the charity stripe for the Chanticleers and added a career-high three blocks, while sophomore Kate Jasinski had eight points and dished out seven assists.

Coker's Jessica Hayes led the team with seven points and eight rebounds, followed by teammates Henna Kopenen and Lotta Aaltonen who registered six points each.

Coker turned the ball over 24 times while the Chants had 11 turnovers in the game. Coastal Carolina shot 36.9 percent from the floor as Coker shot 23.1 percent.

Coastal Carolina will now head on the road for three games starting in Indiana Saturday, Dec. 6, when the Chanticleers travel to Indianapolis, Ind., to take on Butler at 2 p.m.
