Virginia Beach, Va. – The Cobras Luke Baker started it off on the men's side competing in the Heptathlon as he ran a time of 8.08 in the 60-meter dash. Baker also jumped 4.78 meters in the long jump and threw 9.48 tying for sixth in this event. Aaron Hughes ran a time of 7.03 in the open 60 to make it into the finals.

On the women's side, we had junior Nya Exum run a blazing 8.11 in the 60 prelims. Sophomore Lasira Nicholson was right behind her running 8.17. Naizja Redding and Arianna Wiliams placed 20^th and 21^st in the prelim hurdles running an impressive 9.61 and a 9.63.
