Men's Track and Field has three top-three finishes for First Meet of Indoor Season

Winston-Salem, NC - The Coker University Men's Track and Field Team traveled to Winston-Salem for the JDL College Kickoff Classic (Dec. 3rd). This meet opened the indoor season for the Cobras and they had a promising start as three Coker athletes had top-three finishes in their respective races.

Jeremiah Harris, a Freshman from West Columbia, finished first in the Men's 200M race with a time of 22.56. Harris also competed in the Men's 400M race and ended that in 55.89. With a time of 22.76, Austin Simpkins completed the Men's 200M race with a 3rd place finish and and a 10th place finish in the Men's 400M at 55.63. 

To tie the school record and his own personal record, Mahliqe Andrews ran a 1:23.32 in the Men's 600M. Not only did he tie the school record, but he also placed second in the race.

The Cobras will be racing again January 14th at the JDL Mondo Invitational.
