
Men’s Track & Field Competes at Winthrop Opener
Rock Hill, S.C. - The Coker University men's track and field team completed competition at the Winthrop Opener on Saturday (Feb. 27). The Cobras had a strong showing placing in several events.

Kristoffer Persen placed first in the 100m with a time of 10.99 seconds. Persen would also place second in the 200m finals with a time of 22.19.
Seraphin Kibonge won 400m hurdles with a time of 58.78.
Coker's 4x100 relay team consisting of Davion Sebree, Sage Lilly, Kristoffer Persen, and Jerimil German took the event title with a time of 42.93.
Murishi Irankunda placed second in the triple jump and long jump for Coker, with a mark of 13.56 and 21'2".
The Cobras are back in action again Friday (Mar. 19) when they travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Live coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
