Abdus-Salaam Breaks Triple Jump Record to Pace Cobras at Camel City Invitational
Zafir Abdus Salaam broke the Coker triple jump record on Saturday at the Camel City Invite.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Coker College men's track and field team recorded two top-ten finishes at the Camel City Invitational.
Zafir Abdus-Salaam finished in sixth in the triple jump, recording a record-breaking distance of 46' 6.25".
In the 4 x 400-meter relay, the team of Will Mosley, Tyriek Sampson, Brandon Mullins and Razzel Kiplaget finished in tenth, running a time of 3:30.05.
The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 18) at the UCS Invitational.
