Hilliard is Honored with Career in Sports Forum

Hartsville, SC- Julie Hilliard was accepted to the Career in Sports Forum program. She was specially selected along with 199 student-athletes from around the nation to learn and explore future careers in sports with a focus on college sports.

"I am very excited to attend this event and expand my horizon of all the career opportunities offered in college athletics. The experience and connections following this forum will hopefully guide me in the right direction on my career path." Hilliard said about her amazing opportunity.

Athletics administrators are strongly encouraged to seek out student-athlete interest in the Career in Sports Forum and speak to student-athletes about their career interests and the program before submitting nominations. Coker nominated Hilliard for her hard work on the field and off it. She expresses extreme interest in working in sports and has a great work ethic to go along with it.  The three-day event helps the students build a path for their future sports. Participants network with and learn from current athletics professionals.

"I am elated for Julie to have been selected for this extraordinary opportunity with the NCAA.  I believe the NCAA Career in Sports Forum will help propel her future career." Said Senior Associate Athletic Director Julia Rowland after hearing the great news.
