COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coker College men's cross country team travelled to Columbia, S.C. to participate in the Koala Classic Cross Country Meet hosted by Columbia College on Saturday (Oct. 6).

Jacob Chebii and Brandon Mullins each notched top-five finishes in the men's 8k with Chebii finishing fourth overall with a time of 28:37.9, and Mullins fifth at 28:48.2. Frederick Scruggs took third place for the team with a time of 34:13. The Cobras finished fourth overall in the team rankings with 94 points, far ahead of Lander (136), Francis Marion (140), Claflin (169), Paine (187), and Morris (255).

Coker will be back in action on Friday (Oct. 12) when they travel to Kernersville, N.C. to compete in the High Point Vert Cross Invite. Race time is set for 4 p.m.
