2018-19: Ran in all five races during his senior season...Began the year with a third-place finish among Division II competition at the Carolina Challenge (16:52.8)...Ran the Queens City Invite 8k in 26:33, running the fourth-fastest 8k time in school history (Sept. 28)...Logged a fourth-place finish at the Koala Classic in 28:37.9 (Oct. 6)...Led the team at the VertCross Invitational 8k with a time of 27:37.69...Ran the 8k race at the South Atlantic Conference Championships in 27:07.6 (Nov. 3). 

2017-18: Ran in all seven races for the Cobras during his junior season...Chebii started off the season placing 14th in the 5K at the Carolina Challenge (Sept. 2nd) running 16:53.2...He placed 7th in the 8K at the Great American Cross Country Festival (Oct. 7th) running 27:06.1...He also placed in the 8k at the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational with a time of 27:46.74.

2016-17: Posted another oustanding year for the Navy and Gold, notching three Top-20 finishes and running in six of seven races...Best finish was fifth place at the Coastal Carolina Invitational (Sept. 9) in 16:59.29...Finished sixth at the Bulldog Invitational (Sept. 24) in 27:50.66 and 20th at the Great American XC Festival (Oct. 1) in 28:05.9.

2015-16: Made great contributions during his freshman season, running in six of seven races for Coker...Won both the USC Open (Sept. 23, 10:11) and the FMU Invitational (Oct. 16, 16:02)...Finished in the top-30 in four of his six races.

High School: Standout cross country and track athlete at St. Joseph Boys High School.

Personal: Son of Linah Chebii and Peter Chemitei...He has a sibling Solomon.
