Men's Volleyball Drops Midweek Meeting With North Greenville

TIGERVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men's volleyball team lost a hard-fought non-conference match with North Greenville on Monday (Mar. 4), falling to the Crusaders 3-2.

The Cobras jumped out to an early lead after taking a marathon opening set 29-27 and grabbed the third set 25-20 to take a 2-1 lead. The Crusaders would fight back to take the fourth set and send it to a decisive fifth set, which North Greenville won 15-9 to take the match.

Joao Victor Santos led the Cobras with 18 kills while both Absalon Williams and Manuel Hernandez notched 10 kills each. Shaun Kampshoff tallied five kills and Max Kuntz added four. Brandon Ravelo led the Cobras in assists with a game-high 42.

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Mar. 13) when they travel to take on St. Andrews at 7:00 PM.
