Cobras and Bears Square Off in Midweek SAC Tilt

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team returns to the friendly confines of the Coker Athletic Field on Wednesday (Oct. 19) to take on the visiting Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. Opening kick is set for 7 p.m. with live stats and video available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras enter the matchup with a 5-5-1 overall record, while recording three SAC wins. They are led by the duo of Aladdin Elfares and Alvaro Urena, both rank third in the SAC with seven goals on the season. In goal, Michael Ritterbeck ranks ninth with 39 saves, while logging over 700 minutes in goal.

The Bears enter the matchup with a 9-3-2 overall record, while sporting a 5-2-1 South Atlantic Conference record. They are led by Ismael Noumansna, who leads the SAC with 14 goals on the season. In goal, Zach King ranks in the top three in save percentage, saves, goals against average and minutes played.

Opening kick is set for 7 p.m. at the Coker College Athletic Field. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
