HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's soccer team lost a close 1-0 match to Catawba College on Saturday (Oct. 5) in a SAC competition at the Coker Soccer Field. 

It was a game that was much dominated by the Cobras possession style offense, however Catawba took advantage of a rare miscue by the Coker defense and scored the games lone goal in the 70^th minute of the second half.

As the clock continued to tick closer to zero, the Cobras fired off several shots on frame but could not connect for the game-tying goal. 

The Cobras had seven different players who put a shot on goal, while Kyndle Cobb tallied four saves on the day.

Coker will look to rebound this Wednesday (Oct. 9) as they host Wingate in a SAC contest.  The game is slated for a 7:00 PM start time.
