Cobras and Indians to Square Off in Homecoming Match

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's soccer team will host the Indians of Catawba College in a South Atlantic Conference matchup this Saturday (Oct. 5). Kick-off is at 4 p.m. at the Coker Soccer Field. The match will be broadcast live online at www.cokercobras.com.

The regionally ranked No. 5 Cobras enter the contest at 4-2-2, after a 4-0 victory against former Conference Carolinas rival Mount Olive College. Senior Daniel Jackson led the way for Coker notching his first hat trick of the season. Jackson supplied the firepower for the Cobras' this season with seven goals so far.

Catawba is coming off a victory against Chowan College and sports a 4-2-1 overall record with a 1-2-1 mark in the SAC. Kenny Bonilla and Declan Stimson have combined for eight goals and two assists to lead Catawba's offense.

During halftime of the game Coker will crown the 2013 Homecoming court.

Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
