Misenheimer, N.C. – Coker dropped their eighth game of the men’s soccer season on Tuesday, as the Cobras fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University 3-0. The loss drops the Cobras to 3-8-1 overall, while they still remain winless in Conference Carolinas play with a record of 0-5.

Renato Barbosa netted the Falcons first goal of the game in the 18th minute, with an assist from Nick Brindley. Pfeiffer scored their next two goals in the second half, as Kash Knight got the second goal and Juan Sanchez found the back of the net for the third.

Coker goalkeepers, Joel Tyson (Irmo, SC) and Ryan Lewis (Satellite Beach, FL) combined for eight saves in the match, while the Coker offense had seven shots on frame.

The Cobras return to action on Saturday, as they host the Fling Fleet of Erskine College at 4:00 p.m. at the Coker College Soccer Field.
