Bundy Closes Out Second Round of NCAA Regional Tournament

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS – FLA. – Coker men's golfer Will Bundy fired a second round score of 81 on Tuesday (May 3), leaving him in a tie for 61st with a tournament score of 154 headed into the final 18 holes of competition at the 2016 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Super Regional Men's Golf Championship. 

Bundy felt the effects of what has been a difficult front nine at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort, with six of the toughest eight holes coming on the way out. He had two bogeys and three doubles or worse to go along with one birdie for an opening nine of 43. After a bogey on hole No. 11, he birdied hole 13 and bogeyed 16 to sign off on a second round score of 81.

Chandler Blanchet of West Florida and Manuel Torres of Lynn continue to lead the way, sitting at eight-under par.

Due to prediction of inclement weather, round three will be a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start. Bundy will begin round three on hole No. 11. Click here to stay updated.
