Bundy Earns All-SAC Accolades for Second Straight Season

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men's golfer Will Bundy was named to the South Atlantic Conference men's golf all-conference team, the league office announced today.

Bundy, a second team selection, was the Cobras' leading golfer this season posting a 72.79 stroke average in 24 rounds of play. His 2015-16 season scoring average is currently the fourth-best in Coker men's golf history. His season scoring average also leaves him ranked No. 46 in all Division II men's golf.

He had seven top-25 finishes in nine tournaments and two top-ten finishes, with his best finish coming at the Armstrong Pirate Invitational where he finished third. His best round of the season was a six-under par final round of 66 at the University of North Georgia Invitational. His stellar closing round of 66 is tied for second lowest single round in Coker men's golf history.

Will is a junior business major from Bennettsville, S.C. He is the son of Kim and Billy Bundy.

Bundy and the Cobras will hit the links for the 54-hole SAC Men's Golf Championship on Sunday (Apr. 17) at the Etowah Valley Golf Club in Etowah, N.C.
