
Coker Men's Golf Lands Fifth Place at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate
Coker men's golf had a stellar performance at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Oct. 8), as they finished fifth in a field of 20.
SURSIDE BEACH, S.C. – Two Cobras finished in the top-15 for the Coker men's golf team as they finished in fifth place (of 20) at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Oct. 8). The team shot a two-round total of 587.
Josh Clay tied for 11th place for individual stroke play with a two-day total of 144. Clay shot a season low 68 in the first round, followed by a 76.
Will Bundy, who tied for 14th individually, finished just one over par for the tournament with a two day total of 145. Bundy shot a 73 on day one, and then a 72 on day two.
Matt Kreider and Zane Price both finished with identical scores of 150. Both golfers shot a 72 during round one and then a 78 during the final day. Finishing out the field for Coker was Christopher Fuga who shot a 78 and 76 to total 154 for the tournament.
Coker's next event will not come until February 24th, when they compete in the Pirate Invitational.
