
Coker Men's Golf Tied for First Place After Day One of Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate
Led by Josh Clay and his 14 pars, the Coker men's golf team is tied for first after day one at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. – The Coker men's gold team is currently tied for first place out of a 20-team field at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
Josh Clay led the team with a 68 during round one, and racked up 14 pars along the way. Clay's score is the second lowest for individual stroke play in the tournament.
Matt Kreider and Zane Price were both even on the day with scores of 72, while Will Bundy was right behind with a score of 73. Both Kreider and Price are tied for 16th place for individual stroke play. Christopher Fuga finished out the field for the Cobras with a day one score of 78.
Coker will be looking to keep their first place position tomorrow (Oct. 8), as they finish their final round of the tournament.
