Fuga Leads Cobras to Tenth Place Finish at Kiawah Island Invite.

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – After two days at the Kiawah Island Invitational, the Coker men's golf team finished in tenth place with a team total of 597. 

Christopher Fuga sparked the Cobras in the first round after he shot a 67. Fuga then shot a 77 in round two to finish even with a two-day total of 144.  His score was good enough to tie him for ninth place for individual stroke play.

Josh Clay had a consistent tournament, scoring 75 each day to total 150 (+6) for the tournament.  Matt Kreider had similar results after he shot a 74 on the first day, followed by 76 on the second day to also total 150.  Aaron Beebe and Andrew Taske shot 76 and 78 on the final day to sign off on scorecards of 153 (+9) and 157 (+13). 

The Cobras will next venture down to Columbus, Ga., to compete in the Cougar Invitational on Monday, September 30th.
