Cobras Capture 12th Place at Bearcat Classic

GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Coker men's golf team finished in 12th place at the Bearcat Classic on Tuesday (Mar. 26), after shooting a two day, three round team total of 917.

Leading the field for the Cobras was Nicklaus Kennedy, who would sign off on three round individual total of 222.  Kennedy sunk a tournament tying 12 birdies, and also was one of two Coker players to sink an eagle during the two-day event.  Joining Kennedy in capturing an eagle was sophomore Luke Coates.  Coates finished the tournament with an individual total of 238. 

Completing the field for Coker was Aaron Beebe and Josh Clay who shot scores of 230 and 233, while Christopher Fuga was close behind with a final score of 234.  

Coker will have little rest, as they hit the road again for their next outing on Thursday (Mar. 28).  The Cobras will be traveling to compete in the UNCP Campbell Oil Intercollegiate.
