ORLANDO, Fla. – Coker sophomore Jake Murphy (Hamilton, N.J.) holds a one stroke lead on Abilene Christian’s Alex Carpenter and Barton’s Dermont McElhennon after two rounds of play at the Golfweek Division II Invitational in Orlando, Fla.

After two rounds Murphy is at seven under par (68-69) with Carpenter (72-66) and McElhennon (66-72) at six under par. Also in the top ten individually is Coker’s Ben Conroy (Durham, Conn.). He is tied for ninth at one over par (70-75) after two rounds.

As a team the Cobras are tied for 12th place with Carson-Newman. Both teams are at +22 (598) after two rounds of play. Barton College leads the entire field at +2 (578), with Lynn University in second at +4 (580) and Abilene Christian in third at +8 (584).
