SAVANNAH, Ga.- After the first two rounds of play on Monday, the Coker men’s golf team sits in seventh place at the Armstrong Atlantic Pirate Invitational in Savannah, Georgia. The Cobras shot 621 (+61) over the two rounds of play. Flagler College (584, +24) leads the field followed by Armstrong Atlantic (586, +26) and UNC Pembroke (602, +42).

Sophomore Jake Murphy (Hamilton, N.J.) leads the Cobras individually. He shot 74 in both rounds placing him in a tie for ninth.  Fellow sophomore Ben Conroy (Durham, Conn.) is tied for 17th after firing a 73 and a 79, while freshman Josh Rogers (Lexington, S.C.) shot 81-78. Juniors Jared Crane (Greenville, S.C.) and Diego Polo (Guatemala City, Guatemala) round out the field of Cobras; Crane shot 82-82 and Polo shot 80-86.

The Cobras hit the links for the third and final round of the Pirate Invitational on Tuesday.
