Milledgeville, Ga. – Through the second round of play at the Bobcat Invitational Golf Tournament, the Coker Golf team in still placed squarely in 15th place out of 17 teams. The Cobras shot a 318 (+38) in the second round, bettering Rollins College and Pfeiffer University. University of West Florida is still the overall leader with a second round 288 (+8).

Individually for the Cobras, Trey Bridwell (Greer, SC) still leads the way in a tie for 25th place with a second round 74 (+4), followed by Chris Marsh (Georgetown, SC) firing a round of 77 (+7). Jimmy Gillam (Tyrone, PA) shot 83 (+13), while Patrick Kirby (Paris, Ontario) and Stephen Thomson (Bracebridge, Ontario) each finished the second round with scores of 84 (+14).

The Cobras will complete the third and final round of the Bobcat Invitational at the Cuscowilla Golf Club on Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Ga. on Tuesday afternoon.
