Orlando, FL- Starting Monday, September 24, Coker College will host the Third Annual Coker College Invitational Golf Tournament at Orange County National Golf Club in Orlando, FL. This annual event has become one of the premier NCAA Division II Golf events of the last three years, as it brings together the top teams in the nation. This year is no different with a full field of 21 teams from across the country.

This year’s field includes defending NCAA Division II National Champion and current #2 ranked, Barry University, along with current #1 ranked Florida Southern University, and last year’s Coker Invitational Champion Valdosta State University. In all, 17 of this year’s 21 teams are ranked national or received votes to be ranked nationally.

“It is very exciting how big this event has become for Coker,” said Coker Assistant Coach, Stephen Frisch. “This is an incredible field of teams. This tournament is almost a national championship preview with the teams we have here this year and Orange County is a tremendous place to play this event.”

Teams will begin their quest for this year’s championship on Monday morning with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. on the first and tenth tees of the Panther Lake Course at Orange County National.
