Savannah, GA- The Cobra Golf Team is tied for fourth place in the 2007 South Atlantic Regional, after their first day of play. Coker shot a team total of 334 (+46) tying them with Fayetteville State University. Leading the field is fellow CVAC school Belmont Abbey Followed by Barton College and Anderson University. The Cobras are 20 shots back of the leader.

 

Leading the Cobras are Jimmy Gillam, Chris Marsh and Blaine Rogers. Each shot a 10 over 82 in the first day, while Jay Goldenberg shot a 16 over 88 and Steve Frisch shot a 21 over 93.

 

Coker will continue the three round South Atlantic Regional Tournament at the Savannah Quarters Country Club on Tuesday.
