Columbus, GA- The Coker College Golf Team completed the Aflac/Cougar Invitational with a combined two round score of 606, placing them tied for 16th out of 18 teams. Host Columbus State University took the championship with a score of 566.

 

Leading the Cobras was freshman Chris Marsh, who shot a second round even par 71, tying him for 37th place, followed by fellow classmate Jimmy Gillam who shot a second round 78. Steve Frisch also shot a second round 78, next was Keith Wallace with a 77 and rounding out the Coker five was Stephen Thomson with a 78.

 

Coker now prepares for their home tournament at Hartsville Country Club on October 15-16.
