Daniels, WV- After the second round of the NCAA Division II National Championship, the Coker College Golf Team has not made the progress they had hoped for, as they are in 13th place with a score of 602 (+42).

 

The University of South Carolina Aiken remains in the lead by four strokes with a 572 (+12) and California State Bakersfield is in second at 576 (+16).

 

USC-Aiken’s Dane Burkhart and Florida Southern’s Greg Koch are tied for the overall lead, both shooting 137 (-3).

 

For the Cobras, Vincent Dumouchel and Blaine Rogers each shot 73 on the day, moving Dumouchel to 18th place 145 (+5); while Rogers is just five shots back at 149 (+9). Gary Morgan is at 153 (+13) and Johary Raveloarison finished at 155 (+15) after the first two rounds. Rounding out Coker’s field is Benoit Gordon at 168 (+28).

 

The Cobras continue the third round of the 2006 National Championship with the first groups teeing off at 8:20 a.m. Fans can follow the action live on www.golfstat.com with live scoring.
