Concord, NC- The Coker College Golf Team’s solid play has carried over into the NCAA Division II Regionals in Concord, NC, as the Cobras are in the lead after day one of the tournament.

 

Coker is leading the Atlantic Regional with a score of 295 (+7), but they are closely followed by Pfeiffer University at 297 (+9).

 

Blaine Rogers is tied for the overall lead with after a stellar two under par 70 in the first round. Vincent Dumouchel is hot on his heels, after shooting a one under 71 and is tied for third. Rounding out the Coker five are, Gary Morgan and Benoit Gordon, who each shot four over (76) and six over (78) respectively, followed by Johary Raveloarison with a score of seven over (79).
