SAVANNAH, GA– No. 6-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State fired a first-round 290 and leads the AASU/Southbridge Pirate Invitational by one stroke over No. 20-ranked Barry University on Monday at the par-72, 7028-yard Southbridge Golf Club course in Savannah.

 

 No. 21-ranked Coker College is in third trailing by 10 strokes, with a score of 300. The Cobras are led by Vincent Dumouchel, who is tied for fourth place after a shooting an opening round 72. Coker’s Beniot Gordon, Gary Morgan and Blaine Rogers are all locked in a tie for 21st with a score of 76. Rounding out the field for Coker is Johary Raveloarison who after day one is tied for 48th with a score of 80.

 

The AASU/Southbridge Pirate Invitational continues with round two on Tuesday with groups going off starting at 8:00 a.m.
