Basketball Drops Last Regular Season Game

 

Jefferson City, TN. –  Coker went up the road to Tennessee and took on Carson-Newton for their last regular season game. The Cobras fought down to the wire but fell short (71-70). Coker grabs a playoff berth after winning tie-breakers.

 

The team shot a solid 70% from the free throw making 19 out of their 27 attempts. The Cobras caused 10 turnovers that transition to 12 points. Led by Jordan Jones who scored a game-high of 23 points. Jamie Muldowney and Jaylen Ray kept the team in the hunt as Muldowney scored 17 and Ray had 10 points to end the night. The team looks to bounce back in the playoffs as it's the first time since 2017 that they have made an appearance.
