Coker Rings Up Win against Mars Hill in last home game

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team closed out their final home game on a high note as they took down Mars Hill with a score of 54-76.

Tate Mulkey, in a well-known groove, dropped 15 points againts the lions, shooting 5-7 from the field and 3-5 from the three point range. Jordan Jones was also in his element, scoring a smooth 10 points for the night whiel Mahmoud Bangura, Marvin Brumfield, and Jaylen Ray followed close on his heels with nine points. William Asken, going 3-6 from the field, collected eight points throughout the game, all while being trailed by Jamie Muldowney with five points. The Cobras shot 45.6 percent from the field, 32.1 percent from the three-point line, and 83.3 percent from the free throw line.

Although he wasn't the highest scorer, William Asken was putting in work snatching down 10 rebounds during the game, six of those being offensive. Once again, Jamie Muldowney followed just behind with eight of his own. Glenn Bynum Jr., Tate Mulkey, and Jordan Jones combined for a total of 12 rebounds. Nothing out of the ordinary, Jones led the Cobras with six assists out of the toal 14. As a team, Coker registered eight assists on the night. 

Shooting a team high for the Lions, Kory Davis dropped 14 points, three steals, one assist, and two rebounds throughout the game.
