Coker Falls Short to Emory & Henry by one point on Saturday Night (Jan. 28)

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team dropped their game againt Emory and Henry by one point on Saturday (Jan. 28th).

Although the upsetting turnout for Coker, four Cobras dropped double digits for the night. Jordan Jones (17), Tate Mulkey (15), Zavier Measmer (14), and Marvin Brumfield (12) combined for a total of 48 points to lead the Cobras. Mahmoud Bangura dropped nine while Glenn Bynum Jr. (6) and William Asken (4) rounded up the remaining 10 points. As a team, Coker shot 50.9 percent from the field, 38.5 from the three point line, and 52.9 percent from the foul line.

Mahmoud Bangura led the team in rebounds with nine. Eight other Cobras were able to join in on the action with the rest of the rebounds. Out of the 10 rebounds, Jordan Jones registered half for the Cobras. Coker also posted 14 assists and three blocks throughout the game.

Cade Looney, of the Wasps, scored a team high of 15 points.
