Cobras Fall Short to Panthers in Saturday (Dec. 3rd) Game

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Men's Basketball Team fell short to the Claflin Panthers on Saturday (Dec. 3rd) bringing their record to 3-2 for the season. 

A Sophomore Guard, Jaylen Ray, got his big shot against Claflin and rose to the occasion. Ray dropped a hefty game-high 18 points and six rebounds to lead the Cobras. Tate Mulkey chipped in 13 points of his own and three assists. Aside from Mulkey and Ray, seven other Cobras helped ring in the remainder of the points. 

Jordan Jones, had six steals and five rebounds. Overall, Coker shot 42 percent from the field, 30 percent from the three-point line, and 62.5 percent from behind the foul line.

Bryson Dennis led Clflin with 17 points.  

The Cobras will return to the court on Wednesday (Dec. 7th) against Catawba in Hartsville, SC. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.  Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
