HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men's basketball player Julian Nelson has been named to the South Atlantic Conference all-conference team, the league office announced today. Nelson was named to the All-SAC honorable mention team.

Nelson, a senior guard from Irmo, S.C., played and started in all 26 games this season for the Cobras. He averaged a team-high 19 points, which was good enough for sixth best in the conference. He also averaged 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He finished the regular season shooting 42.3 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from behind the arc and just over 71 percent from the free-throw line.

Julian is a physical education and sports studies major with a concentration in exercise science. He is the son of Lloyd and Nina Nelson.
