HIGH POINT, N.C. – Coker senior men’s basketball players Tom Wright (Sydney, Australia) and Liam Kyle (Cleveland, Ohio) have been named to the 2010-11 Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball All-Conference Teams. Wright was a second team selection, while Kyle was a third team selection.

Wright, a guard, has been the Cobras offensive leader all season averaging more than 14 points per game. He also is the team leader in steals with 34, is second on the team in assists with 59 and also averages just over four rebounds per game.

Kyle, a forward, has been a force on the boards averaging nearly eight rebounds per game, while scoring over 12 points a game. He also leads the team in field goal percentage making 54 percent of the shots he attempts.

Conference Carolinas announced the 2010-11 Men’s & Women’s Basketball All-Conference Teams, in conjunction with the Conference Carolinas Basketball Tournament Championships taking place this week at league institutions. Head Coaches from conference member schools nominate and then vote on the award winners who represent the best of the best for the conference.

The Cobras will host #8 Belmont Abbey in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Coker’s Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
