DUE WEST, S.C. – Delonte Doles (Newport News, Va.) led all scorers with 15 points, while Liam Kyle (Cleveland, Ohio) added 11 points to the Cobras 61-45 win over Erskine College on Thursday night in Conference Carolinas men’s basketball.

The win improves the Cobras to 9-8 in conference play, moving them into a tie for fourth place with St. Andrews with one game remaining before the Conference Carolinas Tournament which begins Monday, Feb. 28.

Coker trailed the Fleet at the half, 24-20, but the Cobras bounced back with a 41 points second half. In addition to their offensive explosion, Coker held the Fleet to just 21 points in the second half, including going on a 19-2 run to capture the win.

In addition to Doles and Kyle’s efforts, Eren Moses (New York, N.Y.) had dropped eight points and Tom Wright (Sydney, Australia) had six points with six rebounds.

The Cobras return to the floor on Saturday for their final regular season game of the season at Lees-McRae at 4:00 p.m. A win will secure the Cobras fourth place finish in the conference and will allow Coker to host a game in the first round of the conference tournament.
