CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A trio of Cobras scored in double figures as the Coker men took a tough 75-58 loss to Barton College on Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas basketball action. The loss came under the lights of an NBA court with the Cobras and Bulldogs doing battle at Time Warner Cable Arena, home of the Charlotte Bobcats,

Barton was not phased by playing on the NBA stage as they shot 49 percent from the floor compared to Coker’s 43 percent. However neither team was very successful from the charity stripe with Coker shooting just 46 percent and Barton shooting 59 percent.

Jaren Haley had a game high 19 points, including 12 points from beyond the arc. L.J. Dunn added 18 points and eight rebounds and Jarrett Jernigan had 14 points.

Tom Wright (Sydney, Australia) led the Cobras with `12 points and six rebounds, while Delonte Doles (Newport News, Va.) had 11 points and Liam Kyle (Cleveland, Ohio) added 10 points.

Coker will return to the floor on Tuesday, Feb. 15 when they host Mount Olive College at 7:30 p.m. at the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
