SUMTER, S.C. - The Coker Cobras picked up a 63-57 non-conference win over Morris College on Monday night in men’s collegiate basketball. The Cobras were led Liam Kyle (Cleveland, Ohio) and his 11 points, 15 boards and four blocks in the win.

It was a highly physical game between the Cobras and the Hornets with more and 40 fouls called between both teams and 39 total turnovers. The Cobras outshot the Hornets from the floor hitting 40.7 percent of their shots compared to the Hornets’32.8 percent.

Delonte Doles (Roswell, Ga.) had a team high 13 points with four rebounds, while Tom Wright (Sydney, Australia) and Ryan Aijan (Santa Barbara, Calif.) each had eight points.

For the Hornets, Quantrez Franklin had a game high 25 points and was the only player to score in double figures for Morris.

The Cobras will it the hardwood again on Saturday, when they host the Bobcats of Lees-McRae in a Conference Carolinas game at 4:00 p.m. in  the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
