Hartsville, S.C. – With just one second remaining on the shot clock and just seven seconds left in the game, Coker senior, Ryan Fulwood (Cumming, GA) sank a three pointer giving the Cobras a four point, 68-64, win over the Knights of St. Andrews, in Fulwood’s final game at Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium. It could not have been scripted better for Fulwood, as he returned to the floor in his first game back as starter, since suffering a shoulder injury back on December 13, against UNC-Pembroke, and in his final home game as a Cobra, he as able to give Coker a victory in the final seconds of the game.

The win improves the Cobras to 9-16 overall, and 7-11 in Conference Carolinas play, while St. Andrews falls to 5-20 overall, and 4-14 in the conference. Coker now sits squarely in seventh place in the conference standings, three games up on Limestone College, giving the Cobras a solid chance of advancing to the conference tournament, with just two games remaining.

Coker and St. Andrews were evenly matched throughout the game, with the Knights leading by one at the half, 32-31. But thanks to 27 points off the bench and 36 points from beyond the arc, the Cobras were able to take home the victory.

Fulwood was the Cobras leading scorer with 15 points, all from three-point range, while Josh Poston (Myrtle Beach, SC) and J.C. Hafner (Jefferson, MD) each scored 11 points.

Bradley Hippolyte scored a game high 18 points for St. Andrews, while Colby Poe netted 13 points.

Coker returns to the floor on Saturday, as they travel to Charlotte to take on Queens University at 4:00 p.m.
