The Cobras came out very strong and led 22-10 early on after back to back threes from Michael Pierce. Lees McRae fought back with consistent scoring from Henry Williams to close the gap to 39-33 at the half.
Coker again stretched their lead to 12 points after a 3 pointer from Ryan Fulwood to make the score 51-39 midway through the second. Lees McRae again replied strongly with a 20 to 6 run which allowed them to take the lead for the first time in the game at 59-57. Their lead was short lived though thanks to excellent free throw shooting from the Cobras down the stretch. Darrian Kearney went 10 for 10 from the line to keep Coker ahead and a late effort from Lees McRae fell short as Coker ran away on a late 6-0 run to seal the win.
Pierce ended the game 100% from beyond the arc and finished as leading scorer for Coker with 16 points.
