MISENHEIMER, NC — Coker couldn’t keep up with the high-flying Pfeiffer Falcons Monday night in a 91-69 men’s collegiate basketball defeat.  The Cobras took the CVAC leaders to overtime in their previous matchup but fell behind early this time and couldn’t recover.

Pfeiffer built a 48-34 lead at the break and the offensive fireworks continued in the second half.  The Falcons shot 58 percent in the game and forced an uncharacteristic 21 turnovers from Coker with a relentless pressing defense.

Jason Fulwood/Cumming, GA scored 18 points and was 4-8 from three-point range to lead Coker.  Mark Duncan/Graham, TX added 12 points and senior Jamie Jenkins/Columbia, SC contributed eight points, four rebounds and three assists.  Damien Argrett had 30 points and eight rebounds for PU.

The Cobras return home for a home game on Thursday, February 24, against Barton College at 5:30 PM.
