Esports Falls to Lander in Tough Valorant Matchup

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University Esports team lost its week nine match to Lander University by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday night (Mar. 23) on the road.

The home team Lander won the first game 13-7 on their chosen map Ascent and won the second game on the Coker choice Heaven map 13-8. Coker had a stunning attack on the map on both maps but ran into trouble as the defensive half changed.

Sebastian Williamson highlighted the match with an incredible 4K hold  to keep the Cobras in the game. Additionally, the team coordination and communication showed extreme promise on offense.
