HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University Esports lost its week 7 match to Newberry College by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday (Mar. 9).
Newberry won the first game 13-7 on the map of Coker's choice Split, and won the second game on the map of Ice Box 13-2 chosen by Newberry. Coker performed admirably on attack on the map Split, running the first part of the game, but succumbed to micro errors and decision making which ended up losing the map. Team coordination truly shined at the beginning of the games with Cobras taking early advantages, though they struggled to hold on to these advantages once they created them.
