Esports Falls to Lander in Valorant

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University Esports had a tough loss to Lander University with a score of 2-0 in the game of Valorant Thursday night (Oct. 28).

Lander took the first game 13-2 on the Ice Box map, and the second game 13-4 on the Split map.

Coker led several rounds with great picks to lead to create large advantages, but faltered when having to close out the individual rounds. Lander led a very resourceful and coordinated team in play which allowed them to take the game home.

Bella Dulaney led the Cobra's offense with 15 kills and four assists as they finished their first exhibition match. This exhibition is an important match to see this team's strengths and weaknesses as they prepare for their tournaments starting in the upcoming weeks.
