Coker ESports Falls to Georgia Tech and Davenport in Overwatch

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker ESports Overwatch team fell to Georgia Tech and Davenport in the Blizzard Spring Overwatch Championship on Saturday (Feb. 20).

The first match against Georgia Tech started on Nepal. Coker started off strong by capturing the neutral point first but Georgia Tech was able to rally back quickly to take it for themselves, hanging on to win the first round. In the second round, Coker tried to take the point back from Georgia Tech, but was unsuccessful. The next map was King's Row and Coker started on the attack. The Cobras started strong by capturing the first point during their first push. However, Georgia Tech kept their momentum going to push past Coker's spot to win the match 2-0. 

Coker played its second match against Davenport, starting back at Nepal. Davenport started out on a strong effort, winning the match 1-0. At King's Row, Coker got on top of the point getting the first two ticks. Davenport came back to push the Cobras off and secure the victory in the match 2-0.
