Coker Hosts Emory & Henry In First SAC Action
Cobras open SAC play with three game series starting Sunday.
HARTSVILLE, SC. - Coker is set to play host to Emory and Henry Sunday in what will be the first conference action for the Cobras this season. Coker is currently riding a seven game winning streak after sweeping Ohio Dominican in a four game series last weekend.

COBRA CORNER:
- Coker saw three players receive All-Conference Preseason 2nd team before the season, as Jaylen Mack (catcher), Aaron Diaz (SP), and Tyler Satterley (RP) all look to be key pieces in the 2025 season.
- Senior Jaylen Mack is currently batting .475 on the season with 12 RBI.
- Jaylen Mack, Alex Lazar, Ick Cirino, and Kyler Odom all have batting averages above .300, while averaging 2.5 plate appearances per game.

LAST TIME OUT:
- Coker won all four games against Ohio Dominican last weekend, producing 43 runs.
- Luke Petterson and Jaylen Mack each recorded two hits a piece in game one. Coker stole five bases in game one.
- Casey Cleghorn was dominant on the mound for the Cobras pitching 6.2 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
- In game two, Coker exploded for 18 runs in seven innings. Ick Cirino, Gabriel Santiago, Kyler Odom, Luke Peterson, Cameron Ferrell, Alex Lazar, and Adam Wilkerson all scratched two hits in the game.
- Tyler Satterley pitched all seven innings, and struck out six batters, earning the win.
- Game three saw Coker do much of the same as in game two when they scored 3,1,4, and 5 runs in the first four innings. Coker only struck out twice at the plate during the game.
- Cody Chapman threw 5.0 innings in game four, earning his first win of the season to close out the series sweep. The senior struck out six batters.
- Mack swatted his first long ball of the season, and produced three of the teams four runs.
