Mount Olive, NC- The Coker University Baseball team came into their matchup against #19-ranked Mount Olive with determination and focus. Even though Mount Olive jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning, Coker never lost faith in their abilities.
In the fourth inning, Coker's offense exploded, scoring 5 runs to tie the game at 7-7. Key hits from Kody Hanna, Jacob Yarberry, and Ick Cirino helped lead the charge. The game remained tied until the eighth inning when Ian Miller crushed a home run to left field, giving Coker an 8-7 lead.
