Coker Baseball Falls to Seton Hill on Sunday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker University baseball team lost the final game of the series 14-4 against the Seton Hill University Griffins on Sunday (Feb. 16) at Tom J. New Field.

Seton Hill jumped out to an early 8-0 lead through four innings, but that's when Casey Demko got the Cobras on the board with an RBI single to right field to score Vito Castronovo. In the fifth inning, Chase Bruno brought home Harrison Morris on a fielder's choice to score the second run for Coker. In the bottom of the ninth, Lake Lybrand singled to right center, scoring two more runs. However, the Griffins held on for the 14-4 victory.

The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Feb. 18) when they travel for their first away game of the season at the Belmont Abbey Crusaders. First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m.
