Cobras Host St. Andrews in Season Opener Wednesday

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball will open its first season under head coach Luke Harrigan when they take on St. Andrews on Wednesday (Feb. 1). Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras beat the Knights 11-3 last season in Coker's home opener on Feb. 2. Ryan Milner tossed 6.1 innings scattering five hits and two runs, one earned for the quality start. The right-hander also struck out five and only surrendered one walk. Six Cobras notched multi-hit games in the effort. Darius Coldiron shined in the contest, going 3-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.

The Knights went 29-25 last season and 13-14 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m. at Tom J. New Field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
