Anderson, S.C. - In their final regular season Conference Carolinas match-up of the season, the Cobras baseball team was swept by Anderson University on Saturday afternoon. Coker fell to the Trojans 5-2 in the first game and 5-3 in game number two. The losses drop the Cobras to 17-23 overall and 4-15 in the conference, with just one game remaining in the regular season.

After being swept by Anderson, Coker finishes the Conference Carolinas regular season in ninth place, giving the Cobras the #9 seed entering the conference tournament next week. But before Coker heads to Wilson, N.C. for the Conference Carolinas tournament, they still have to face cross-town rival Francis Marion on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Coker's Tom J. New Field. With their final regular season game, the Cobras will look to avenge their loss to the Patriots earlier this season, 4-2.
